IPhoto v 2.0 play slideshow journal

I have been traveling & saving photos in journals which I could, until yesterday, show as slideshows. Then I "upgraded" to v 2.0 and now none of the journals will show as slideshows, and it appears I have to create those 'projects' separately. I do not want to rebuild theses journals as slideshows, I simply want to be able to either convert them to slideshows or save them as such. The so-called Help feature does not address this loss of former functionality. How do I save/convert a journal to a slideshow in v 2.0?
